He is a member of the academic board of the Valdai discussion club in Russia, and a member of the advisory committee of the South Asia Department of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He was formerly a professor at Georgetown University in Qatar and in the War Studies Department of King\u2019s College London. His book \u201cPakistan: A Hard Country\u201d is on the official reading lists for U.S. and British diplomats serving in that country.<\/p>\n<p>Raffaello Pantucci is a Senior Fellow in the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Singapore and a Senior Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (RUSI) in London. He was previously an associate Fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) at King\u2019s College London and worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC, the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London, and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) in Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p>ABOUT THE FEDERAL TRUST<br \/>\nThe Federal Trust is a research institute studying the interactions between regional, national, European and global levels of government.
